At Chef4Health we meet you where you are and help you navigate away from the Standard American Diet (S.A.D.). The S.A.D. is filled with highly processed foods, chemicals, preservitives, added sugars, fake and highly addictive sugars, sodium and fat. I want to help you and your family live a long healthy life through whole foods.

4 week healthier you professional series.

Chef Dave shares his health journey and how healthy, delicious food can make good health a reality for you, too.

He comes alongside your health journey not as a doctor, but as a culinary medical professional trained in cooking for weight loss, sensitivities and food allergies, and to address medical conditions like Type 2 and 3 Diabetes, high blood pressure, and so much more.

Introductory sessions will include:

 

  • What is your “WHY”?

       "work with my doctor to reduce or            eliminate my medications."

  • What is the Standard American Diet (S.A.D.)?

  • S.O.S. – sugars, oils, and sodium

  • Carbs – a chain of sugar molecules. They are everywhere. 

  • Know your BLT’s, Bites. Licks. Tastes

  • Proteins? Animal vs plant based and daily allowances

  • Exercise? Just keep moving!

  • I can’t vs I don’t

  • Suggested readings and/or videos.

Research shows that plant-based diets are cost-effective, low-risk interventions that may lower body mass index, blood pressure, HbA1C, and cholesterol levels. They may also reduce the number of medications needed to treat chronic diseases and lower ischemic heart disease mortality rates. Physicians should consider recommending a plant-based diet to all their patients, especially those with high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or obesity.

With more than 30 years of cooking experience, we can do cooking classes on just about anything you want to cook.  Whether it's solid meals for the family to pizza's, to just basic home cooking skills. 

Pizza anyone?

A perfect friends night of fun! Invite up to 8 friends over and make some amazing pizza's. Whether it's Napoleon or Chicago deep dish, vegetarian, margarita to meat lovers, I can guide you through it. Gluten free, vegan, and non dairy options are available

As a professional chef & food sport competitor, I can show you how to create some amazing dishes. I can teach you how to master any dish.

Family Meal Prep

On the initial visit, (1 Hour) I will come to you and we will discuss a custom tailored menu personalized to your family's dining preferences. We will create a grocery lists and schedule our second visit (approximately 2 hours)

Sous comes from the French word for “under.” A Sous Chef (YOU) is a chef who works closely with the Executive Chef (ME) in a professional kitchen. 

These parties are so much fun!! You and your friends will assist me in cooking a delightful dinner while learning the whole food, scratch process of why and how we do what we do. It can be a plated 4 course meal, a wine pairing or a GF, Gluten Free pizza party. 

You choose the theme and we supply the food.
